A HILL COUNTRY PARADISE 

Nestled on the banks of the Guadalupe River, Kerrville is the capital of the Texas Hill Country. Known for breath-taking views, beautiful parks and abundant recreational activities, Kerrville is the perfect getaway. 

 

CULTURE AND THE ARTS

Kerrville's museums and cultural centers are lively and rich in history. Visit the Kerr Arts & Cultural Center, watch a production at the Cailloux Theater, or spend an afternoon exploring Kerrville's Sculpture Prayer Gardens.

 

OUTDOOR RECREATION & HIKING

Whether you’re a spectator or a participant, Kerrville abounds in options for getting outside and enjoying the outdoors. From biking and hiking to water sports and adventure, Kerrville offers parks, creeks, rivers, lakes, forests, fields and sports venues to thrill even the most active enthusiast. Nearby hiking includes the Kerrville River Trail. Explore Kerrville's wildlife at the Riverside Nature Center that houses a native healing garden, a butterly garden, and their open meadows. 

 
 

SCHREINER UNIVERSITY

The retreat will be held at the beautiful and historic Schreiner University campus, surrounded on all sides with lovely views. The campus is compact and all of our venues will be accessible with not too much walking (but parking is also plentiful).
