Ready to self-publish but are overwhelmed with all the platform choices? This intensive course walks you through all the steps to using CreateSpace, Amazon’s print-on-demand outlet for self-publishing. In this course we will cover:

  • Preparing your manuscript — editing, typesetting, and cover design — should you outsource some of this?
  • Graphics — special considerations for illustrated work and photographs.
  • File extensions — Amazon does not play nicely with Adobe products.
  • Staying in the Amazon universe — pros and cons
  • Uploading your book — things to consider before you hit “send.”
  • Hidden costs on CreateSpace — ISBN, Library of Congress listings, etc.
  • Royalties and distribution — getting paid!

This class will meet on a Tuesday evening in October or November from 6 to 8:45 pm (specific date and location will be confirmed once we've reached our target "opt in" number). Registration will be set at $99 per person (current members only!) and will be strictly capped at 10.

To opt in as interested in this class, please click the REGISTER button above (you will not be charged a fee to opt in). For more information, visit our Intensives page.
