Find yourself staring at a blank screen, returning to the same ideas, or just plain feeling uninspired? This workshop will guide you through techniques for sparking creativity and revitalizing your creative process. Jodi will lead you through a series of exercises and games inspired by her work in writing consulting and improvisation. She’ll challenge you to take your writing in new directions, leap into the unknown, and play with images, words, and ideas.

You’ll leave feeling refreshed and energized, enthusiastic and excited, ready to create, ready to write!

This workshop is open to all writers, whether you're revising your twelfth novel or about to write your first blog post.

Jodi Egerton offers workshops, editing, writing, and mentoring services as Write Good Consulting. Jodi has her Ph.D. in English from the University of Texas at Austin. During her years at UT and as an Assistant Professor of English Writing and Rhetoric at St. Edward’s University, Jodi taught classes focusing on writing strategies for small businesses, social media writing, magazine writing, and analyzing comedy. Jodi also works as a wordslinger with Typewriter Rodeo, crafting custom poems on vintage typewriters.
