Ready to promote your book but not comfortable with pitching it--and yourself--as an author?

Want to learn practical strategies for modern book publicity?

Books don’t sell themselves. It takes a marketing-savvy author to execute a successful book campaign. This class will introduce promotional strategies for the assertive author and promotional alternatives for those who don’t like being in the limelight. Promotion is not a one-time event. It must be ongoing for as long as you want your book to sell.

In this class, learn the state of publicity in 2017 and heading into 2018, how to match your strengths with the right types of media, how to craft the perfect pitch, and talking points that make it easy for the media to discuss your book. In addition, participants will begin developing a "press pack" for their books.

TAKE THIS CLASS IF
  • You're preparing for the publication phase of your book. (The strategies apply to both self-published authors and traditionally-published authors looking to supplement their publisher's marketing campaign.)
  • You want to learn modern publicity strategies.
  • You want to build a brand around your writing career and treat it as a business.
