Authors and aspiring authors, this is the time to be writing your heart out. In this half-day class, we will discuss how to spot hot trends, how to write what you are passionate about while also choosing a profitable category, tips to increase your output so that you can move quickly to market, the 80/20 rule of promotion to avoid wasting time on marketing that doesn't matter, and protecting your writing time by hiring out tasks that can be cheaply and reliably left to pros.

This class is perfect for...

a) those interested in self publishing who have educated themselves on the basics

b) authors who have independently published one or more books

c) hybrid authors or authors who are considering independently publishing some of their work

d) those who have already taken a class on self publishing and wish to learn the next steps

About the instructor...

Deanna Roy is the owner of Casey Shay Press and the author of 28 titles under five pen names. After selling modestly for several years, Deanna decided in late 2013 to focus solely on her writing career. Since then, she has hit the USA Today bestseller list three times under two pen names, and has sold 150,000 copies of her books and serials.
