Authors and aspiring authors, this is the time to be writing your heart out. In this half-day class, we will discuss how to spot hot trends, how to write what you are passionate about while also choosing a profitable category, tips to increase your output so that you can move quickly to market, the 80/20 rule of promotion to avoid wasting time on marketing that doesn't matter, and protecting your writing time by hiring out tasks that can be cheaply and reliably left to pros.

This class is perfect for...

a) those interested in self publishing who have educated themselves on the basics

b) authors who have independently published one or more books

c) hybrid authors or authors who are considering independently publishing some of their work

d) those who have already taken a class on self publishing and wish to learn the next steps

Important Note: This is not an advanced class, but some industry terms will be referenced. If you are brand new to the idea of self publishing and wish to educate yourself on some standard terms and concepts, the instructor recommends visiting the following websites ahead of class:

About the instructor...

Deanna Roy is the owner of Casey Shay Press and the author of 28 titles under five pen names.
