Contest The 2011 Writers' League of Texas Book Awards will recognize outstanding
books published in the following categories: - Fiction
- Nonfiction
- Poetry & Literary Prose
- Childrens books (short works)
- Childrens books (long works)
The 2011 contest
is open to American authors of books published in 2010. (Note: The Books
copyright page must show the 2010 date.) Authors are not required to be members
of the Writers League of Texas.
Entry fee: $35 per title /
$25 per title for WLT members only Deadline: Thursday, January 31,
2011
Prize: Winners in each category receive a $1000 cash prize,
a commemorative award and an appearance at the 2011 Texas Book Festival. Download
