Book Award: 2006 Winners
In 2006, the Violet Crown and Teddy Children's Book
Award Ceremony was held at the Texas Book Festival, Saturday,
October 28, from 3 - 4 PM in Capitol Extension Room E2.010.
The presentations were followed by a Panel Discussion
featuring the winners.
Winners signed copies of their books in the Texas Book
Festival book signing tent immediately following the
ceremony. Winners' books were also on sale at the
Barnes & Noble tent. Finalists' books were on sale
at the Writers' League Exhibitor's Booth #123.
